Synopsis

In the village of Minangkabau, in West Sumatra, a young man named Yuda (Yuda), studying the style of Harimau Silat (Silat Harimau), is the final stage of preparation for "Merantau. The meaning of this ancient rite is that young people under a certain age should forget about all the comforts of an idyllic village and succeed in Jakarta (Jakarta).
